ServiceCal calibrates and repairs a wide range of equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, thermometers, pressure gauges, PAT testers, verniers/micrometers, 17th Edition test equipment through to laboratory standards and multifunction calibrators. Our services also include wind-speed, temperature and pressure testing. Our experience shows that different organisations have different requirements – which is why we tailor all of our services to exactly what each customer wants.

Providing quality calibration and testing since 1996.

Originally part of Ferranti Computer Systems (one of the largest electronics manufacturers and service companies in the UK), ServiceCal was established as an independent business in 1996, following a management buyout.

Our business has grown steadily and we have achieved an enviable reputation for quality, service and responsiveness.

Company history

Servicecal is a UKAS – 17025-accredited calibration laboratory (0152) which provides calibration to this standard at its permanent laboratory in Heywood. Calibrations can be performed on site, traceable to national standards, and an in-house certificate issued.

 A service department is fully equipped to carry our repairs to component level on a wide range of equipment – including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, thermometers, pressure gauges, PAT testers, verniers/micrometers, wind-speed meters/anemometers, 17th Edition test equipment through to laboratory standards and multifunction calibrators. Services include wind–speed, temperature and pressure testing.

Based in Greater Manchester, our services cover most of the UK. We provide calibration services in Altrincham, Birkenhead, Birmingham, Blackburn, Blackpool, Bolton, Bramhall, Burnley, Bury, Cheadle, Chester, Chorley, Congleton, Heywood, Leyland, Liverpool, Macclesfield, Manchester, Oldham, Preston, Rochdale, Sale, Salford, Southport, Stockport, Warrington, Winsford and Wrexham.
